The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, dealt with children

In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful

Children are the nation's future and promising hope. Therefore, they must be taken care of and given a good upbringing.

One of their first rights over us is to improve their names: a good name raises the morale of its owner, unlike a bad name, which depresses him.

The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, named his two grandsons: Hassan and Hussein, which are derived from Al-Hassan. Rather, he used to change ugly names to beautiful names, so he changed the name of disobedient to beautiful, and Jathama to Hasana.

Children are more in need of mercy towards them and kindness towards them: this is due to their extreme weakness and inability to rely on themselves. The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: (He is not among us who does not have mercy on our young ones) Al-Tirmidhi, and authenticated by Al-Albani.

He, peace and blessings be upon him, used to greet them: this planted confidence in their souls. Anas bin Malik said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came to some boys playing, and he greeted them. Narrated by the two sheikhs.

And he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to caress and caress them: Mahmoud bin Al- Rabi’ said: “I learned from the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, a wave that he threw in my face when I was five years old from a bucket.” Al-Bukhari.

Anas bin Malik said: Perhaps the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to me: “O one with two ears,” meaning he was joking with him. Abu Dawud and Al-Tirmidhi, and authenticated by Al-Albani.

He used to wipe the heads of young children: this wiping had a great impact on their psychological health, and even led to better growth of their bodies. Anas bin Malik said: (The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to visit the Ansar, and he would greet their children, wipe their heads, and pray for them) Al-Nasa’i in Al-Kubra, and it was authenticated by Al-Albani.

And he taught them doctrine and faith: He , may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said to Ibn Abbas: “O boy, I teach you some words: Beware of God and He will protect you. Beware of God and you will find Him facing you. If you ask, ask God If you are stubborn, seek help from God...) Hadith. Ahmed and Al-Tirmidhi, and authenticated by Al-Albani.

If we raise our children well, we will have participated in preparing the generation of victory that will advance the nation and restore its ancient glory.
